Qu Qianmei (瞿倩梅) to present an exhibition in the Rouen Cathedral Easter 2008

To promote intercultural dialogue, Qu Qianmei is planning to host an exhibition of paintings on the theme of Hope. This exhibition is to serve as a testimony to hope, and is dedicated to the theme of redemption. In spite of darkness, in spite of difficulties, in spite of the dissolution of humanity, hope is always possible. Though night may fall on Good Friday, light will always dawn on Easter morning. The personal story of Qu Qianmei is a testimony to the hope she wishes to spread to others. It also illustrates the artistic richness that can result from the meeting of Taoism and Christianity in the soul of a painter.
